Several students met in the Connection Cafe Oct.18 to listen to music, eat candy and get in the mood for Halloween by building their own haunted houses.

Although these haunted houses were made with candy instead of the normal zombies, Freddy/Jason masked murderers and the normal ghosts, there is nothing better than meeting new people and sharing the spirit of Halloween.

Participating in the event were all ages from Running Start students to students in their 50s. A few staff members even stopped by to get in on the action as well, making this school activity fun for all.

Many students who attended the event said it’s nice to have a break from studying to come relax and have some fun.

Cheryl Drahos said she loved the break and enjoyed creating her haunted house.
