Students may have noticed recent changes in the lobby of the LSC building. Chairs were moved around, and tables were added. The new furniture arrangement gives students more space and makes the lobby more conducive for studying.
Some students don’t think they’ll end up spending more time studying in the LSC building even with the added tables.
“The library is right there,” Kayla Webster, Pierce College student, said.
The library doors are no more than 15 feet from any of the tables or chairs, but the lobby still appears to be a popular study spot for many students. During any time of the day, students can be seen sitting on the new tables and chairs.
“I like the idea of them,” Running Start student Annalise Nilson said, “but they don’t match.”
